Flow

The inner flow simulated using Computer Fluid Dynamics (CFD).

Līna 20 points

Points

The shape emerges from the chaos by precisely orchestrating and fine-tuning the location, orientation, width and rotational controls of just 20 points.

Made to order

  1. Treeing up - attaching the finished CAM wax to a base ready to invest and burn out in the furnace.

  2. The finished tree showing the cast item ready to trim off the sprue and the item having the sprue sawn off at the bench.

  3. The first stage of metal surface refinement may require filing and sanding the item. This will remove any print lines or other surface imperfections.

  4. Several different grades of polishing compounds and tools are used, getting finer through the process.

  5. Any print lines or other surface imperfections will now have been sanded down ready for polishing.

  6. A high-speed polishing mop is prepared with special polishing compounds. The piece of Jewellery is held firmly against it, moving position constantly to obtain an evenly polished surface.
